Nappy pant sales grew above the average
Nappy pants’ turnover is the third biggest among the 60 household chemicals and cosmetics categories measured by Nielsen. Compared with 2008, value sales increased by 6 percent last year and surpassed HUF 16 billion. The average nappy cost HUF 50/piece, with hypermarkets realising 44 percent of sales and drugstores selling 40 percent. Private labels’ share oscillated in the 32-40 percent range.
