Comprehensive European study: the majority of webshops do not meet consumer protection rules
75 percent of the online shops, does not meet the European Union's consumer protection standards – the European Commission states. The European Commission announced the results of its comprehensive study on Thursday.
The Commission notes that users should struggle themselves through a labyrinth of contract terms before they learn how much they should actually pay for the product, while kids are misguided with games indicated as free. (Konsiczky Zoltán, MTI)
