Food industry’s institutional system to be restructured
Hungary’s government has decided to examine the possibility of closing 73 state institutions for good – many of which are operating in the agricultural sector. According to news website Vs.hu, the government plans to close down institutions such as Agricultural Economics Research Institute (AKI), the National Agricultural Research and Innovation Centre (NAIK) and the National Food Chain Safety Office (NÉBIH).
