Unmanned digital supermarkets transform rural Sweden
The Swedish supermarket startup, Lifvs opened 19 unmanned stores in villages and towns of Sweden where grocery stores shut down in the past decades. Lifevs plans to have bigger clusters with only one person for every 4 or 5 unstaffed container shop. The interior of each supermarket offering over 500 items resembles to that of a normal shop. So far, the concept seems to be a success.
