Prime Minister Orbán Viktor and Csányi Sándor officially handed over the slaughterhouse in Mohács
The 21 billion HUF greenfield investment of the MCS Vágóhíd Zrt. was handed over by Prime Minister Orbán Viktor and Csányi Sándor, the owner of the plant on Tuesday. The cutting, boning and packing plant in Mohács is Hungary’s second largest slaughterhouse.
Pókos Gergely, Chief Executive Officer of the MCS Vágóhíd Zrt. emphasized that in the facilty 800,000 normal and 100,000 heavy weight pigs will be slaughtered per year. The total capacity of the plant will be fulfilled by the end of the year. The plant is currently employing 600 employees. The state contributed to the investment with 2.7 billion HUF.
