The Nébih had withdrawn dried orange cocktail from circulation
The orange product test of the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) continued with the monitoring of dried and candied orange products. One out of the four marketed products had to be withdrawn from the market due to the excessively high color content.
The professionals found everything ok at three products, but the coloring content of one of the dried candied coctail orange had a color content that was more than the fourfold of the legal limit, and these dyes were not marked in the list of ingredients – the food chain safety agency added. (MTI)
