We are price sensitive to vegetables
If we are dealing with vegetables, we are very price-sensitive – agrarszektor.hu wrote after Gfk Hungária’s data. A part of society can easily give up the consumption of frozen vegetables, while we simply buy less from fresh vegetables, when we feel it more expensive.
After a bigger price increase of 3-4 years ago, the price growth of canned vegetables remained below 1 percent in the last year, while for the frozen vegetables 3 percent more had to be paid by the households.
