The Miskolc-based brewery received a gold medal

Another world-success from the Miskolc-based Zip's brewery: After gaining two silver medals at the Dublin craft beer competition in February, now they received a gold medal.

The brewery’s special beer won the gold medal at the Alltech Commonwealth Craft Beer Cup in Lexington, Kentucky, USA on 17 May. The jury particularly emphasized the balance of spiciness and malty sweetness of the beer.

Tóth László owner and CEO told that six beers were awarded with gold medals at the competition. These beers were juried again separately after selection. From the ultimate comparison the beer of Zip's came out best, so the victory can be considered as a double victory. (origo)
