The meat plant of Sátoraljaújhely produces again from April

The meat plant of Sátoraljaújhely, that was closed in Januray 2013, starts to operate with a new owner from April. The Zemplén-Food 1889 Ltd. will employ 15 to 20 people at the beginning, while by the end of the year the number of employees – Sebőkné Tóth Ibolya, Executive told MTI.

The company was co-founded by the Kisvárda-based Keps-Hungary Kft. and by the local government of Sátoraljaújhely.

According to the Executive, the Kisvárda-based company is dealing with the trade of meat products for nine years in Hungary and Slovakia. The Zemplén-Food 1889 Ltd. has long wanted to own a meat plant. (MTI)
