Tax controls: 130 million fine for shopkeepers
To sum up the Tax and Financial Control Office’s investigations between 16th of March and the 5th of April; more than 6 thousand tests resulted in 130 million HUF fines and the closing pf 219 stores for shorter or longer time.
The investigations covered the Easter-related products, such as confectionery goods, pastries, beverages, flowers, perfumes, holiday greeting cards, and the auditors even tested bunny rentals also. Realism was the key factor at the organising of the tests, so the auditors worked late in the afternoon, evening and even the weekends – reports penzcentrum.hu.
