A Mother’s home for the burnt child center
In recent days, the Hungarian media reported about several unfortunate child burns. In Hungary, nearly 70,000 burning accidents happen each year, of which 2/3rds of the injured are children.
The National Burnt Children's Center is operating in the building of the Bethesda Children's Hospital of the Hungarian Reformed Church, that receives patients from all over the country. Therefore, the Official Foundation of the Bethesda Hospital started collecting to set up a Mother’s home, so that parents can participate in the healing of their children, and can stay with them. Dr. Velkey György, the Director General of the hospital presented the visualization of the Mother’s home.
