Zwack Unicum reaches a visual and technological milestone this spring. The brand’s latest commercial is not just an advertisement, but a journey that spans generations, evoking a cinematic experience, in which the mysticism of 2000s adventure films meets the most modern AI technology. 

Zwack Unicum’s latest image film debuted on March 9th, closing an era and replacing the highly successfulUplifting Moments concept that had been running for four years.  

The new commercial, focusing on shared experiences and connections between generations, was made with the usual Zwack expertise and the highest quality. The main message of the new commercial is that in today’s rapidly changing world and continuous digital noise, the greatest challenge may be the lack of permanence, to which, according to Zwack, shared experiences and rituals can provide a real answer. Thus, those moments form the invisible fabric of our society, which connect the past with the future across generations, thereby creating a stable foothold and continuity in everyday life.  

The production is outstanding in terms of its size and visual sophistication, and viewers were not exposed to a traditional advertisement, but to the visuals and technical sophistication of a real movie during the premiere. The dramaturgical focus of the film is “connection”, which brings together generations and seemingly completely different characters into a single shared experience. The catalyst for the story is the Unicum bottle itself: at the moment when the characters simultaneously reach for the bottle, a grandiose, visual journey begins, where the characters find themselves teleported to different worlds and unforgettable moments. The chosen locations carry deep symbolism, the jungle represents authentic origins, the desert represents timeless essence, while space represents the boundlessness of the brand, forming a bridge between physical reality and imagination. The message of the advertisement is clear: although we may be different in many ways, the Unicum experience connects us like an invisible link. The campaign highlights that the brand represents a sure point, an eternal reference in today’s rapidly changing world, which fills our everyday lives with content and shared memories.

It was extremely important for us to show, with the most modern visual solutions, that Unicum is not only part of our past, but also one of the most important points of connection in our present. Whether it is friendly conversations or family moments spanning generations, the shared experience is what creates real value. This new commercial is a kind of homage to friendships and communities, confirming that the idea that the world may change, but the experience of quality and belonging will remain with us forever” – said Sándor Zwack, President of Zwack Unicum Plc., regarding the new commercial. During the production, the creators combined physical sets with digital extensions, which showcases modern solutions used in domestic advertising production. Some of the monumental backgrounds seen in the film were created with the help of artificial intelligence, while iconic locations such as the Chain Bridge pillar were brought to life with 3D modeling and LED wall technology. In addition to digital innovations, the crew used large-format cameras and anamorphic lenses to preserve the cinematic visual world and analog texture. This conscious visual construction ensures that CGI does not remain a visual element for its own sake, but serves the dramaturgy and dynamics of the scenes, while the commercial is also aesthetically distinct from traditional television solutions. 

The emotional arc and dynamics of the film are completed by the song “Leave the world behind” by Gergő Szakács (Follow The Flow) written specifically for the commercial, which accompanies the viewer from the initial excitement to the intimate family moments.
