MasterCard introduced its smart fridge application
MasterCard on Tuesday announced Groceries by MasterCard, a service designed to work with Samsung Family Hub refrigerators shipping this spring.
Samsung's newest refrigerators will include an Internet-connected display on the front, called the Family Hub, where the MasterCard grocery service can be accessed. In addition, a companion Groceries by MasterCard mobile app can be used for ordering and paying remotely for groceries. The customers can order from the supply of the two largest US supermarket chains, the FreshDirect and from ShopRite. (tozsdeforum.hu)
