A new measure has been introduced for responsible nutrient management
Biomass has an important role to play in preserving the nutrient content of soils, which must be kept in mind when using waste and residues from agricultural areas, Juhász Anikó, Deputy State Secretary for Agriculture of the Ministry of Agriculture (AM) told MTI.
In the statement, the Deputy Secretary of State of the Ministry of Agriculture explained that when the EU Renewable Energy Directive was adopted, this aspect was also reflected in domestic legislation and in the future the condition of soils should be increasingly taken into account in energy recovery of agricultural waste and residues.
