AM helped more than 35,000 businesses
More than 35,000 farms or businesses applied for support in the summer to mitigate the negative economic effects of the coronavirus – Feldman Zsolt, Secretary of State for Agriculture and Rural Development at the Department of Agriculture (AM) told M1 news channel on Monday.
He added that the support intended for agricultural and food industry participants reached about 140,000 employees, so the 25 billion a HUF llocated for this purpose could protect so many jobs.
Claims submitted during July and August can be paid in September and October, he added. (MTI)
