AM: a number of sustainability programs are operating successfully in Hungary
The Department of Agriculture (MoD) is successfully running a number of sustainability programs, such as the development of producer markets, the Food Abandonment Initiative and the Afforestation Support Program – the AM’s Minister of State for Administration at the Green Economy Conference said in the United Arab Emirates.
According to a statement from the ministry, Szinay Attila highlighted at the event that Hungary can contribute to food security in countries where it is necessary for sharing knowledge, sharing good practices in food production and processing. Hungary is cooperating with the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) to this end. By way of example, he mentioned that Hungary provides scholarships for students in developing countries in the field of agriculture, and that in Africa, local training is provided for agricultural advisors.
