AM: Hungary requests the introduction of exceptional EU support measures in the poultry, pig and dairy sectors
At a video conference of EU agriculture ministers on Wednesday, Hungary requested the introduction of additional EU support measures to address the crisis situation caused by the coronavirus epidemic in the poultry, pig and dairy sectors – the Ministry of Agriculture (AM) told MTI on Thursday.
According to the communication, EU agriculture ministers agreed that the measures taken by the European Commission so far were not sufficient to deal with the crisis caused by the coronavirus epidemic, and therefore called on the EU Commissioner for Agriculture to take further emergency measures immediately.
