AM: the agri-food industry is one of Hungary’s major economic potential
The foreign trade of agricultural and food products contributes greatly to the positive balance of the national economy from year to year, therefore its macroeconomic importance is decisive – Nagy István, Minister of Agriculture said at the Annual Meeting of Foreign Economic Attachés – according to the Ministry of Agriculture (AM).
According to a statement sent to MTI by the ministry, the minister explained at the event that the value of food exports in the last three years was over 8 billion euros. This also meant that the productivity of Hungarian agriculture improved significantly between 2010 and 2018. (MTI)
