The green peppers of Szentes are a speciality of Hungarian agriculture that needs to to be preserved, and the region is a strategic vegetable growing area, where significant developments in recent years have created the conditions for more profitable farming and ensure the future of those engaged in pepper growing and their families, stressed the Parliamentary State Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture (AM) at the X. Magyar Paprika Day professional event in Szentes, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Agriculture (AM) on Friday.
