The food industry is a highly innovative sector at the international level as well, with domestic companies striving to keep pace with the development attitude and meet their current consumer needs with their innovations, the Secretary of State for Food Chain Supervision said during a visit to the Dracar Kft. in Debrecen.

The Hungarian food industry is facing a significant development

Erdős Norbert emphasized that after the coronavirus pandemic, the importance of the Hungarian food industry has increased enormously, therefore the government is constantly working to help Hungarian companies looking for innovative solutions and create opportunities for them. He added that the aim of the complex food industry calls announced by AM is to encourage the players in the sector, including small and medium-sized enterprises, to produce products that are competitive in a forward-looking domestic and foreign market.
