AM: fresh pork from Hungary can be shipped again to Serbia
Serbia has reopened its market for fresh pork in Hungary as a result of more than a year of negotiations – the Ministry of Agriculture (MTI) announced on Saturday.
According to the announcement, Serbia, like many other countries, has closed its market for Hungarian pig products after the African swine fever (ASP) emerged last April. In order to mitigate the economic damage, the Hungarian Chief Veterinary Officer immediately began negotiations with the Serbian Chief Veterinary Officer on regionalization. (MTI)
