AM: The foundations of modern grape and wine production have been established
Thanks to the efforts of the last 12 years, the foundations of the 21st century grape and wine production have been established in Hungary, said the State Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture (AM) at a press conference in Budapest on Friday.
According to Feldman Zsolt, responsible for Agriculture and Rural Development the subsidies have strengthened the competitiveness of the sector in the long run, new producer co-operations have improved sales opportunities, and foreign wine will not be processed in Hungary for further processing.
