The regional meeting is now traditionally hosted by Budapest. In his greeting, Bencsik Dávid emphasized that as the national coordinator of the Food Systems Summit, he is working to implement healthy and sustainable food production and consumption and to introduce good practices. Hungary continues to be committed to supporting the implementation of the FAO’s motto “Fiat panis” (Let there be bread!), Among other things, by funding a well-functioning scholarship program and FAO projects in the country, Bencsik Dávid stated.
