AM: more corn may grow in 2018 than in 2017
Thanks to the favorable weather, slightly more corns can be produced this year than last year and a similar amount of sunflowers may be harvested as last year – Feldman Zsolt, the Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture (AM) said on Friday in Budapest at a press conference.
Following the meeting of the Harvest Coordination Committee, the Minister of State, responsible for Agriculture underlined that the prospective yields per hectare are favorable, exceeding the average of the last five years. (MTI)
