AM: the most important Asian market for Hungarian agricultural products is Japan
The most important Asian market for Hungarian agricultural products is Japan. Between 2010 and 2017 the value of Hungarian agricultural exports to Japan expanded by about 25.5 million euros, and everything is given for further expansion – Belánszky-Demkó Zsolt, Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture (AM), responsible for International Relations said in Tokyo, at the opening of the Hungarian stand at the 44th Foodex Japan International Food and Beverage Trade Fair – according to the Ministry’s announcement.
At the Japanese Food Fair lasts from 5 to 8 March 2019, Hungary promotes high-quality Hungarian products at a community stand.
The Deputy Minister of State said that the Hungarian quality wines could become more competitive on the Asian market, with the disappearance of Japanese tariffs. (MTI)
