Alternative fiber materials and hand towel recycling: the parent company of Tork received another sustainability award
Essity, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of hygiene products, has again received platinum certification from the EcoVadis sustainability rating company. The parent company of the Tork brand, which specializes in professional hygiene products and solutions, is thus among the top 1 percent of companies evaluated by EcoVadis based on its sustainability performance.
Essity received 78 points out of a maximum of 100 points during this year’s evaluation, so it belongs to the top 1 percent of the examined companies. This is the third evaluation since 2020 in which Essity has received a platinum rating from EcoVadis. This year’s index shows the more than 62,000 companies evaluated by EcoVadis between 2018 and 2022 based on four criteria: environmental protection, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
