REWE offers animal-free cheese in Germany
REWE is offering cheese lovers a new sustainable cheese alternative: Frischhain, a completely animal-free cheese developed by the start-up Formo, is available in three different versions.

The product is dairy-free and is made using Koji protein, which has been used in Japanese cuisine for centuries. Koji mushroom protein isn’t only considered an excellent ingredient for its taste and texture, but its food industry use is also a big step forward in sustainability. //
