Resolution regarding the GVH procedure initiated against Szentkirályi Hungary
Yesterday, the Economic Competition Authority (GVH) announced in a press release that it had initiated proceedings against Szentkirályi Magyarország Kft., along with several other actors, due to suspicion of consumer deception.According to the press release, the current proceedings involving Szentkirály Magyarország Kft. predominantly examine the claims related to sustainability used by Szentkirályi Magyarország Kft. in a 2019 communication campaign.The GVH examined this campaign of ours already in 2020 and determined then that the conditions for launching the competition supervision procedure were not met.
Szentkirályi Magyarország Kft. has not received any information about why the GVH has now decided to start the procedure in connection with our campaign 5 years ago, or despite their previous decision. Szentkirályi Magyarország Kft. continues to cooperate fully with the GVH during the procedure, providing all important and available information.
