Ikea adjusting to changing consumer habits
Ikea plans to spend $3.16 billion on city-center stores and using existing big box locations as distribution hubs to support e-commerce orders.
The goal, according to a Wall Street Journal report, is to make the retailer and its goods more accessible to consumers. It plans to modify 30% to 40% of its stores to include parcel distribution centers.
