A fundamental change is coming at the checkout of most Hungarian stores
From January – with some exceptions – merchants are obliged to enable so-called electronic payments, the change may also be effective against the black economy – Magyar Nemzet quotes, Gion Gábor, State Secretary of the Ministry of Finance.
The Secretary of State explained in an interview that an amendment passed by parliament last week requires traders using online cash registers to guarantee a cashless payment option. (penzcentrum.hu)
