Béla Prohászka, president of MNGSZ “A professional centre is about to be established”

– What does it mean for MNGSZ (Hungarian Gastronomic National Association) that Hoventa is organised by Hungexpo? –The association has already played an active part in the biggest domestic catering event, but as president this is my first Hoventa so I do not really have a basis for comparison. It is important that Hungexpo is supportive in organising competitions which are open to spectators. For instance our national teams will be preparing for the Culinary World Cup at Hoventa.

– This connection suggests that you are cooperating on a daily basis. – Absolutely. We would like to take part in all of Hungexpo’s trade exhibitions. We have set up a professional centre in the fair centre.

– What do you expect from the fair in the long run? – It is important that in the future we will have an opportunity to introduce the background of our activities and our educational ideas. We would also like to support the practical work of cooks, for instance by organising courses.
