The dangers of phishing for domestic small businesses are underestimated, according to a study
Phishers are increasingly targeting micro, small and medium-sized businesses, the vast majority of which are still unaware of how vulnerable their IT solutions are and how much damage an incident can cause, according to a recent study by Telekom and BellResearch sent to MTI on Wednesday.
Three-quarters of micro and small businesses believe that their existing IT protection is sufficient, but companies that anticipate risks also underestimate the risks. Only 20 percent of micro-enterprises and 30 percent of SMEs feel that their IT system is at least moderately exposed to attacks and threats. (MTI)
