SuperValu introduces hydroponically grown microgreen mixes
Irish retailer SuperValu has launched two new hydroponically grown products in a move that makes it a first among retailers in Ireland. Hydroponic vertical farming is an innovative method that allows greens to grow all year round, irrespective of the weather. SuperValu also intends to launch Growing Pea Shoots grown using innovative soil-free methods – on a bed of compostable paper.
