According to a survey by Árukereső.hu, 57% of shoppers are primarily motivated by sales, price discounts and promotions. 39% of respondents also admitted that they often shop simply to reward themselves or cheer themselves up. “Technology may evolve and new techniques may emerge, but the success of discounts as a tried and tested method is undeniable. On Árukereső shoppers can see the discounts and compare offers from different stores, so that they can make the best decision”, told András Szták, managing director of Árukereső.hu. The survey was based on a questionnaire completed by 1,638 Árukereső.hu customers.
