The amount of garbage in Budapest can be reduced by up to third
One third of the garbage produced by households is organic waste that can be turned into humus by individual and community composting. You can now read more about the propeer handling of the 170,000 tonnes of waste a year from the quiz of Humus Alliance.
In our country we produce on average more than half a tonne of trash a year, which could be reduced by almost 170 kilos with a little care and cooperation. All of this translates into nearly 170,000 tons (!) of garbage nationwide.
