Demand for online ordering and home delivery in the food sector has also increased significantly this year. This was due to the follow-up to the coronavirus pandemic in the spring – shopping timeframes, store closures – and fear of infection. Large chain stores often did not even had the needed delivery capacity, and this also meant a chance for smaller grocery stores to be able to make home delivery available.
