The food industry may grow continuously by up to 4 percent

According to Atradius’ industry analysis, the food industry’s performance in the next five years may increase by 3-4 percent annually.

The sector continues to be one of the most important sectors of the Hungarian economy, every tenth of the 500 largest domestic companies are operating in the food industry. In the field of product manufacturing, the food industry is the second largest employer and the third largest producer. This sector produces more than 10 percent of the country’s total industrial output.
