Marketing managers are more open to new ideas because irrespective of its price, a great gift idea remains memorable for the target group. Nándor Kis, corporate relations manager of Reklámtárgyellátó Központ Kft. told our magazine that they are an independent company offering gifts from both domestic and international manufacturers. One of their specialties is logoed quality wristwatches. Golding’s view is that the success story of USB flash drives continues this year. Buyers opt for the standard models despite the fact that if 100 are ordered, they can be manufactured in a customised fashion for hardly more than the price of standard ones. The company’s experience is that small firms often use promotional gifts instead of business cards, indicating their contact data on them. Recently useful gifts have become more popular, things that are of good quality and can really be used in work or around the house. Papaya Promotion Kft.’s experts agreed that for promotional purposes companies are looking for cost-efficient solutions, which at the same time are in direct proportion with advertising value and quality. When it comes to giving business gifts, companies pay attention to pick the most special ones allowed by their budget. The popularity of environmentally friendly gifts is growing, in both promotional campaigns and among business gifts. There is such big demand for these products that the company offers them under a separate brand name, GREENPROMO (greenpromo.hu). Reklámtárgyellátó Központ Kft. is of the opinion that due to a more health conscious approach by companies, demand for formerly popular gifts such as ashtrays or lighters is falling. They also sense the increased demand for ‘green’ products, for instance only they sell PushCleanTM wipes in Hungary. According to Éva Váradi, firms can save a lot of money if they plan their gift ideas one year in advance, because this way customised gifts could be imported directly from the Far East.
