Tesco introduces AI refrigeration technology to cut energy costs in the UK
Britain’s Tesco has introduced AI-based refrigeration technology to cut its energy costs by 10% and save more than 385 tonnes of carbon dioxide in its operations.

As part of the pilot programme, the retailer has rolled out Star Refrigeration’s “Ethos AI” data-led performance optimisation and smart monitoring service, first to three and then to another five sites, saving 4 GWh of energy and reducing CO2 emissions by 385 tonnes in 21 months. //
