According to the analysis, the weather has been changeable and spring-like mild in the past week. The precipitation totals of the past 30 days have been around average in a significant part of the country, with more precipitation than average in the eastern part of the country, and less in the Transdanubian Central Mountains. Soil recharge has stalled slightly in the past week, and the deeper soil layers in the central and southern parts of the Great Plain are still dry, and at least the upper one meter should recharge by spring so that there is reserve moisture for plants next summer.

The winter dormancy of rapeseed and winter cereals is being disrupted in many places in the Great Plain and Transdanubia by mild weather

Their cold tolerance is decreasing, although minimum temperatures colder than minus 5 degrees are expected in many places in the first days of next week, while a beneficial snow cover will also protect the stands. The forced dormancy of fruit trees and grapes is also being disrupted by the spring weather. According to the forecast, the mild spring weather will continue, then cooling will arrive from Sunday, with strong, stormy winds in Transdanubia and snowfall in many places. Precipitation exceeding 10 millimeters is expected until Sunday afternoon, mainly in the southern part of the country, partly in the form of snow. The temperature will not rise during the day on Sunday, and by dawn on Monday the air will cool down to between minus 5 and minus 10 degrees in many places.
