Increasing the productivity of the Hungarian food economy is a key issue, for which it is extremely important to support digitization and the application of new technologies, Erdős Norbert, State Secretary for Food Chain Supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture (AM) said during his visit to Bábolna Élelmiszeripari Kft.

Erdős Norbert pointed out that the goal is for the Hungarian agriculture and food industry to produce marketable goods that can be incorporated into healthy nutrition with the lowest possible environmental impact, based on a larger knowledge base and state-of-the-art technology. The Ministry of Agriculture is constantly cooperating with food industry interest groups and professional organizations in the planning of applications, using the experience of previous support periods, he added.
