There is enough food for the country

Sufficient domestic food is available in Hungary, so Hungarian supply is safe even during the coronavirus epidemic” – Nagy István, Minister of Agriculture told MTI.

The leader of the ministry emphasized that Hungarian agriculture and food industry produce many times more than the country can consume. Given that there is no shortage of food, no general increase in prices is justified.

He said it would not be a problem, but because of the time it takes to fill up the goods, it could cause a temporary shortage of supplies. (MTI)
