Minister of Agriculture: commercial chains should continue to procure Hungarian pork!
The Minister of Agriculture calls on the commercial chains to maintain the procurement of Hungarian pork after the outbreak of swine fever in Germany, the Ministry of Agriculture (AM) told MTI on Thursday.
According to the announcement, German Agriculture Minister Julia Klöckner on Thursday confirmed the outbreak of African swine fever (ASP) in wild boar in Germany.
As a result of the notification, based on past experience, it is possible that some countries outside the European Union will introduce import restriction measures that will have a significant impact on the European meat market, they wrote. (MTI)
