Agrarian Chamber: The grilling market is developing dynamically in Hungary
The grilling market in Hungary is developing dynamically, and producers have also reacted to this trend, as semi-finished and ready-made products for grilling have appeared on the Hungarian market, Györffy Balázs, president of the National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) said on Tuesday at a press conference in Budapest.
He added that while outdoor cooking was typically of bacon baking and cooking, the grill season is now in fashion in Hungary, which usually lasts from May to August-September.
Most of the products used for grilling are grilled meat (fish as well), but the proportion of vegetables and grilled meats is also increasing. The VAT cut has a positive effect on consumption of meat for grilling.
Balázs Győrffy emphasized that the Hungarian products are of high quality and properly controlled, and when purchasing the Hungarian product the consumer helps the Hungarian food industry and the producer sector.
The event was organized by the National Chamber of Agriculture. (MTI)
