Chamber of Agriculture: Two-thirds of unified applications were submitted by farmers with the help of the chamber this year
The village economists of the National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) actively participated in the submission of unified applications this year as well, out of 154 thousand applications, 102 thousand were submitted by farmers with the help of experts – the chamber told MTI on Wednesday.
The applications submitted with the assistance of the Chamber cover more than 1662 million hectares. Similarly to previous years, approximately two-thirds of the applications were submitted by producers this year with the help of the NAK village economists. With this free service, the chamber has helped its members to draw more than 1500 billion forints in support over the past decade – they announced. They added that the NAK also helped farmers who submitted their applications themselves or without the help of a village economist, and also provided information about the support system on a regularly updated collection page on its portal. During the submission period between April 7 and June 10, it was possible to apply for support for 49 support titles and measures and to fulfill data provision obligations. The deadline of June 10, 2025 is null and void, so unified applications submitted after that will be rejected without any substantive examination, they wrote.
