Chamber of Agriculture: Carpathian Basin may become a unified region in agriculture
The Carpathian Basin should become a unified region in agriculture – Győrffy Balázs, president of the National Association of Agricultural Economics (NAK) told at a press conference following the two-day meeting of the Hungarian Farmers Co-ordination Forum of the Carpathian Basin, on Friday in Budapest.
At the two-day meeting 19 representatives of the Hungarian and cross-border farming host organizations took part. From the 42 participants, 35 people represented 17 cross-border organizations.
The President of NAK drew attention to the importance to strengthen economic relations. He gave an example that after Germany, Romania is the largest agricultural trade partner of Hungary. (MTI)
