Planned public funds authority is a problematic idea
According to László Zara, president of the National Association of Tax Advisors and Bookeeping Service Providers (MAKSZOE), the idea of establishing a new government authority to fight tax fraud and prevent financial scandals isn’t a good idea. The president thinks the representatives of related trades should be consulted on the matter by the ministry. In the name of MAKSZOE he also stated that accountants and bookkeepers never assist those who commit tax frauds. The association only wants regulation that would guide bookkeepers and tax advisors towards trade organisations that guarantee the quality of work done.
