The NAK and the interbranch organization proposes VAT cuts in the milk sector
The National Agrarian Chamber of Commerce (NAK) and the Dairy Interprofessional Organization and Marketing Board (Dairy Board) suggests the decline of value added tax (VAT), from 27 percent to a single-digit less than 10 percent rate at the last consultation the about the dairy industry – the NAK told MTI on Monday.
According to the opinion of the two organizations, the market anomalies are caused by the marketing of products affected by VAT frauds. According to the communication, the reducing of VAT would be a significant step in the fight against frauds, to improve the competitiveness of the dairy sector. (MTI)
