It’s a pleasure to give! – The school supplies collection charity campaign has started in INTERSPAR stores
Between July 20 and September 4, 2022, customers of INTERSPAR stores can help needy children start school with school supplies and by purchasing donation cards within the framework of the joint initiative of the Hungarian Maltese Charity and SPAR Hungary.
Giving is Joy! In the school supplies collection campaign, between July 20 and September 4, 2022, customers of INTERSPAR stores can help disadvantaged students start school by purchasing donation cards, right before the start of the school year, August 24-27. and between them, they can contribute to the start of school for children living in disadvantaged areas with notebooks, stationery, pen holders, school bags, gym packs and other useful teaching aids bought personally in the stores and given to the volunteers of the Charity Service on the spot.
“For families living in catchment areas, the purchase of school bags, pencil cases and other school supplies is often out of reach. Children can be at a disadvantage in school because they don’t have the right notebook, a ruler or colored pencils. Because of this, they may fall behind in their studies and the situation may even cause them anxiety. That is why our cooperation with SPAR Hungary is important, thanks to which we can deliver the most necessary equipment to the most needy families before the start of school. During the campaign, hundreds of our volunteers take part in the collection in the stores, and customers can personally experience that giving is a joy even in summer.”
– said Tamás Romhányi, communications manager of the Hungarian Maltese Charity Service.
