Gold medal: Coty – Rafinanz • Adidas – Wii promotion
Coty Hungary Kft. commissioned Rafinanz Service with a 10-week promotion campaign to boost sales of adidas women’s cosmetics and to support the range’s new Free Emotion product line. One of Rafinanz’s strengths is that they often suggest cross promotions; this time they used adidas women’s wear and Nintendo’s Wii Fit, so they could approach the target group from three directions. When buying cosmetics products, shoppers could send SMS messages to win 1,000 adidas Free Emotion deo sprays, 100 adidas bags or 10 Wii Fit games. 20,000 text messages were sent and not only cosmetics sales, but also cross promotion product sales increased.
